INFORMATION-ITIS - A PROBLEM FOR YOU?
I skip over the web a lot - do a little shopping - do a
little
looking as most people do.
At times when I am about to order something - I click on
the
order form - there before me are all these blank
lines that they
want me to spill my life to them.
I will just go so far and when they get to a question
I don't
think they need to know - I just click off
and move my shopping
to another site.
Information is gold on the internet - and you better
believe
this information is sold.
If you don't think so - order a catalog on-line and
fill out
all the informtion they ask for - sit back
and see how many
catalogs you get the next month.
I was looking up some information for my daughter
who was
looking for information on nursing.
I did not even get my e-mail off to her before I
started
getting e-mails pretaining to nursing,
schools, scholorships,
etc. That was 4 months ago -
I continue to get more and more
information on
nursing.
If they don't have a form for you to fill out
- the cookies
they retrieve from your click through
gives them all the
information they need.
Here's a shocker - you think your information is
hidden - type
in your name or your telephone number
into Google Search Engine -
surprise - surprise.
Now don't get me wrong - if you do business on the
internet -
you must put your name and how to contact
you or you lose all
your credibility. But we don't have
to spread it all over the
internet.
Just take a look at your sales form - if you are
asking too
many questions, redo the form. People
don't like to give up
information on themselves.
Only ask for what you need and no
more.

PRESIDENT BUSH AGREES TO MORE INSPECTORS
The President has announced that as of today, as
requested by
France, Germany, Russia, China, and
their Political supporters in
the U.S. he is agreeing
to additional inspectors to be deployed
throughout
the country of Iraq. We will be sending
250,000
additional inspectors into Iraq.
The additional inspectors will include:
24,000 members of the
1st Infantry Division
15,000 members of the 101st Airborne
Division (Air Assault)
15,000 members of the 82d Airborne
Division
5,000 members of the 4th armored division with
their
"M1-A1all-terrain vehicles"
5,000 U.S. Air Force
personnel for aerial recon
missions and other "surveillance"
activities 20,000
U.S. Marines to aid with inspections: 2500
U.S.
Coast Guard personnel to inspect coastlines
An
undisclosed number of Army Rangers, Green Berets,
Delta
Force, Navy, SEALs, and Marine Recon and
other Special Operations
personnel to inspect
? Iraqi "hide-a ways" U.S. Navy will provide
Special
air deliveries to aid the inspections will be made
by
aircraft from the USS Constellation, USS George
Washington, USS
Abraham Lincoln and USS Enterprise.
The President stated:
"With these additional inspectors, the
inspections
should be completed in a few weeks."
