**Open discussion on promoting the club. Suggested ways:
Fliers - newspaper - have not been successful in the past. John will present the posters he had used before.

Tommy to pass the word at body shops.

Discussed the mixing of other cars.

Motion made to accept all old cars made by Homer and seconded by Mike Henry.

Motion Passed.

** Chamber of Commerce to get back to Tommy or Bill on listing meetings on their calendars.

** Discussion of cruise nights - in the past had 2 or 3 show and shine - discussion tabled until next meeting.

** Suggested to hand out fliers.

** Mike made the motion to have permanent meeting at Old Time Grille - Bill Seconded
Motion passed with discussion open down the road.
* It was decided that this would help build the club to have a permanent meeting place.
* Suggested to drive cars to meetings - Will check with HEB and see if we can park in the corner of their lot.

** Web Page discussed - it was decided to leave it as is.

** John suggested we use some of the clubs funds and invite 3 people from the car show to attend the next meeting at the invitation of the club and dinner will be paid for by the club. Suggested we send out 2 or 3 letters per meeting to invite participants of the car show to the next meeting to help build attendance. This invitation to be sent out one week prior to meeting.

No objections
Sharon Lambkin to mail out 3 invitations one week prior to meeting.

** John to make a presentation at the next meeting.

** Next car show it was suggested to get prizes from auto parts stores, or community merchants. Think about giving trophies to our own club at the car show.
No Objections.

** Points of Interest
Mike ran into Ron Williams - has a 1949 V8 Ford someone bought a truck, but not the engine - will put this on the web page in the parts for sale section.

Next meeting date at the Old Time Grill - 3rd Thursday - May 17 at 6:30 - This had to be changed because they did not check their calendar when we reserved it and that night is taken by the Lion's Club. Meeting changed to Monday night for this meeting at the Ole Time Grill - voting will have to be on whether we change the date to the Monday night or
Wednesday night date as these are the only 2 nights open at the old Time Grill.

===>>> Meeting Adjourned
